The engagement
Personalization was becoming central to product development across industries, but consumers’ expectations—and what they were willing to exchange for personalized experiences—were less clear. Dassault Systèmes wanted international evidence it could bring to CES and use across its communications program.
The research approach
The survey reached 1,000 adults in each of the United States, China and France. It examined where consumers expected personalization, how long they were willing to wait for customized products and whether they expected benefits in exchange for sharing personal data.
From findings to impact
Dassault Systèmes released the findings during CES, where personalization, connected products and digital experiences were central industry conversations. The study supplied proprietary statistics for the company’s newsroom, event content, video and supporting communications.
Highlighted result
3,000 consumers across the United States, China and France surveyed for a CES-timed research launch.
Methodology
CITE Research conducted the study for Dassault Systèmes among 3,000 adults, with 1,000 respondents in each of the United States, China and France. The research was released in connection with CES.
