As organizations extended their networks beyond the traditional perimeter, IT administrators faced new challenges managing security for remote users, branch offices and cloud environments. WatchGuard needed independent evidence about how organizations were approaching off-premises security and where the gaps were.
The research approach
CITE Research surveyed 200 U.S.-based IT administrators and managers, examining their current off-premises security posture, the challenges they faced and their priorities for addressing them. The research was conducted in July 2019.
From findings to impact
WatchGuard used the findings in its State of Off-Premises Security report, providing the company with credible independent data for its product narrative and demand-generation programme.
Highlighted result
200 U.S. IT administrators and managers provided a benchmark of off-premises security posture and priorities.
